Twitter Interview of Faizan Lakhani
Faizan Lakhani is the most active sports journalist on Twitter, he is working with Geo News currently.

When did you join Twitter and what was your objective?
Sometime in 2010, I was already on other forums of social media, a lot of friends suggested me to join it, I consider Twitter as hub of all the news and it is always very helpful.
Describe your Twitter timeline.
Mostly about Cricket, sometimes nostalgic and sometimes political.
Have you ever achieved something because of Twitter?
yeah, got friends like @norbalm@ArooojZahra @aey @amk @SaraMuzzammil and many other media fellows.
Any interesting Twitter story? Share with us.
Hmmz, once I made “chai program” with some Twitter friends and tweet was caught by my wife, who is also on Twitter, and had to cancel the program. So, my advice to all the married boys on Twitter, don’t let your wives follow you, or don’t make any program on public timeline, use DM 😛
How will describe Twitter during a Pakistan vs. India Cricket match?
Warzone! and everyone behaves like Wasim Akram, Ramiz Raja, Ravi Shastri and Navjot Sidhu.
Your most favorite account on Twitter and why?
I don’t follow too many people, mostly official accounts, or people I know or I would like to know. Can’t single out any favorite, I would say that everyone on my following list is my favorite.
Remove Twitter from your life and tell us where you stand now?
Are you Rehman Malik? Well, I will find something alternate.
Where do you see Twitter Pakistan in next 2 years?
I hope government doesn’t ban it, but I think people need to understand the difference b/w Twitter and Facebook, Twitter is more about sharing information or discussing issue or sharing content, some people use Twitter like mIRC.
Any interested love stories to share with your readers?
I don’t discuss DMs on TL 🙂
Your words for Twittistaan?
Really a great effort, hats off to the entire team of Twittistaan for bringing country’s twitter under one umbrella.
