These Hilarious Tweets Doubled The Joy of Eid
Muslims throughout the world celebrate Eid-ul-Adha (Festival of Sacrifice) at the end of Hajj (annual pilgrimage to Makkah). Eid-ul-Adha lasts for 3 days and this year it was celebrated in Pakistan from September 2nd to September 4th.
When we are kids, the joys of Eid were different and no one could beat the excitement of bakra coming to the house, making him eat food, taking him for a walk in the streets and showing him off to other friends. The sadness from little minds and hearts of sacrificing our animal then the excitement of distribution, it was all so fun at that time. When we grew up, it became different and we realized Eid is only for kids. Now that we are grown-ups, our Eid is like sleeping all day after the namaz, or getting ready and taking selfies or getting ready and thinking about sleep or dressing up and scrolling through Facebook, Instagram and Twitter all day, and most important one is going to khala, phupho’s house on Eid Day 1 and them coming to our house on Eid Day 2. That’s it.
Here are some hilarious tweets that I have scrolled through Twitter during my whole Eid:
Please crush ..
