“We do not inherit the earth from our ancestors; we borrow it from our children” -Anonymous

All around the year we celebrate many days, representing our love towards many important events, people and perspective of our lives but there comes a time when we have to support and become a part of something greater, something bigger and something better.

The first Earth Day was marked on April 22, 1970, which became the beginning of the modern environmental movement.

Like all around the globe, Pakistanis especially on social media, also celebrated Earth Day and made many resolutions to make this planet a better place to live. The rain added fuel to the fire and the natural beauty of this land made everyone realize how important it is to keep this place healthy and happy. Many resolutions were made which included storing water, quitting smoking, usage of paper bags, planting more trees and many more.

Among many promising tweets, here’s a glimpse of few tweets that show the love for Earth:

Out of million others, these promises encourage many other earthlings to come forward and play their part for a better future because at the end of the day action speaks louder than words. Without action all these promises are useless, be a part of friends for change, be the change you wish to see in the world.
