Remembering Madam Noor Jehan With Her Most Memorable Songs
Time is a cruel thing. We come into this world, live our life, and then we die leaving behind no trace that we ever existed. But there are few people who have defeated time. They may have left this world but their words, their songs, their art will live forever. Madam Noor Jehan was one such singer we got blessed with.
Some of us listened to her as a kid and fell in love with her voice, even though the words didn’t make any sense back then. A few of you may still not have listened to any of Madam’s songs but one day you will and it will be magical.
The effect of Madam’s songs was not limited to a particular time. Her voice can still heal a broken heart and make a cold heart break down and cry. Her magic affected not only Pakistanis but everyone across the globe. Which is why that today not only we are celebrating her birthday but so is the world.
