New Ufone initiative aimed to make Ramzan and Eid better for the underprivilegedby Twittistaan July 5, 2016 0 comments
What is the use of the holy month when you can’t fulfill its true meaning?
This is what Ufone believes and this year, besides all the useless self-targeted advertising, Ufone has brought forward an amazing initiative to help those people who can’t celebrate their Eid because of the lack of resources. These people are like you but only with less reasons to celebrate, so why not give them the resources and the reasons. These three campaigns are part of the Ufone CSR initiative; Operation Eid Child, Dewar-e-Meherbani also called as Wadan and Khana Ghar.
You can donate boxes full of gifts to kids around Pakistan with Operation Eid Child. Then, Dewar-e-Meherbani lets you give away clothes, shoes and food to homeless people who can’t afford to buy these things. You can even start these in your own area so that these useful items get in reach of everyone. Khana Ghar distributes food to people. You can buy a token of as low as Rs. 3 and Khana Ghar will do the rest.
With the help of Ufone, you can set all these in your area right where you live. So, spread this campaign through #itsallaboutU and let everyone in Pakistan know so that no area in the country is left behind.
Ufone’s CEO says about the initiative, “The spirit of Ramzan encapsulated in a campaign that hopefully makes a huge difference for the less privileged in society during this holy month.”
It is only U who can make the difference.
